The Crestwood Boys basketball team hosted Country Day School yesterday in what turned out to be a tight and tense affair. Country Day started the game off on fire, going on an 8-0 run. Vinnie “The Microwave” Lin responded with a brilliant array of offensive moves, helping close the gap. In the second half, Crestwood tightened their defense and started attacking the offensive glass – led by D’animal Jeon. In the fourth quarter Ethan “Gamer” Gazer and Liam picked up their play and started knocking down some key jumpers. County Day held strong and Crestwood was never able to complete their comeback.
