CBHL action continued on Tuesday with a tilt between the Red Wings and Bruins. The Red Wings came out of hibernation and smoked the Bruins with the score of 8-2. The Red Wings and Bruins were led by their captains Thurman Zarek and Josh Moozar. Zarek was able to pop two goals behind the Bruins goalie Tim Kufner who started the game red hot. New student Nathan Galansky was able to rifle a hat trick past Kufner and Aidan Takes tallied two goals while Lee Williams had one. On the Bruins side, the teams ready offence dried up except for Gr. 5 player Maya Shapiro who sniped two goals past Adam Perlman who played like a younger version of Carey Price. Great job boys and girls!
In Thursday CBHL action the Habs and Blackhawks tied 5-5. It was a hotly contested game with many chances and changes along the way. Cole Eichler replied on the other side with one and Charli Abitbol had one. Goaltenders Ethan Adler, Mike Fisher and Alex Giguere all posted solid performances. The other game was just as exciting as the Leafs downed the Evan Seniorless Rangers.
