The Junior Boys Volleyball Team had their first game on Wednesday, and dominated the court at The York School. The boys won the game in 4 sets, winning 3 of them with scores of 25 to 9, 25 to 7, and 25 to 19.
A special mention goes out to our setters, Grade 7 Kian Torabi and Grade 9 K’Shawn Latty. Without their excellent sets and control on the court, we wouldn’t have seen any of our fantastic plays.
Congrats to one of our veteran players, Grade 10 Sean McNamara, for his consistent serving. During the third set he served almost ten in a row, which helped us secure the win.
Finally, a shout out goes to the captain of the team, Grade 10 Juliu Holanda, for his killer hits, powerful serves, and great leadership.
Coach Postma and Wappel are proud of all the boys for this fantastic first game! See you all tomorrow morning at 8am for practice.
