Josh surprised our opponents with hairpin drops and hard-hitting overhead shots. He has definitely mastered the game’s primary attacking stroke. Eric, Aron and Raymond foiled their opponents with their version of the “drive”; a low, fast shot over the net. To the amazement of the other team, Saladin used quick wrist-and-forearm rotations, thereby changing an apparently soft shot into a faster passing shot. Megan, Max and David have quickly become masters of the hairpin net shot. Kira, Thomas and Grace used their smarts and were able to execute deliberate delays in hitting, giving them the opportunity to strike increasingly deceptive shots.
