On Thursday, May 14, Crestwood’s student government hosted “Crestfest 2015,” this year’s version of the annual Spring Carnival. The Grade 8 and 12 Graduation Ceremonies are quickly approaching. Parents and Guardians should have received an invitation in the mail in April. Grade 8 students received a visit from the Guidance Department this week to discuss the changes which have been made by the Ministry of Education regarding the timing of the completion of community service initiatives. Students may now begin working to complete their mandatory 40 hours of community service in the summer before Grade 9.
On Tuesday, May 19th, six of Crestwood’s brightest alumni returned to the school’s hallowed halls for the annual Grad Panel. These panelists returned to give insight into postsecondary life at various institutions from both Canada and the U.S., and within a wide range of programs including medical science, business, journalism, media studies and creative writing.
