Meeting Please join us for our upcoming evening P.A. meeting on Thursday, November 23 at 5:30 pm in the boardroom.  To help with scheduling, the meeting will be held during the teachers’ dinner break on Parent / Teacher Interview evening. Treasure Island Auditions

Auditions for Crestwood’s 2018 School Play, Treasure Island, begin Monday, Nov.6, and wrap up on Tuesday, Nov. 7. If you want to be involved in the play make sure you have signed up and are ready to audition! The sign-up sheet and all audition materials can be found outside Room 110.

Volunteering at the Scotiabank Toronto Waterfront Marathon

On Sunday, October 22, a group of 35 Crestwood students headed downtown to help volunteer with the Scotiabank Toronto Waterfront Marathon.  The students worked throughout the morning and afternoon to provide finish line refreshments — including a record supply of Gatorade — to over 15,000 runners who participated in the event.  Thanks to all of

CPC Chess Club Match

On Wednesday afternoon, members from the Crestwood Chess Club hosted a junior and senior team chess match against players from Victoria Park Secondary School, one of the top chess programs in the city.  Our senior team, captained by Navid Sarshar, played a strong match despite being shorthanded but eventually lost 3-2.  Our junior team also

Guidance News

Tuesday October 10th – University of Guelph Wednesday October 11th – PSAT Exam 8am -12 noon. Only those grade 11 students who have registered to take the test through the guidance department will be doing so. Friday October 13th Lakehead University The deadline to register for Advanced Placement is Friday October 13th.  

Uniform Switch

On Monday, October 16 we will be making the switch to the full school uniform. The uniform will consist of: White Dress Shirt Tie Blazer, School Cardigan, School Sweater or Grad sweater Pants or Skirt Black shoes At no time are sweatpants to be worn under the skirts or are sweatshirts to be worn in the school.

Kenyan Boys Choir Performance

On Tuesday, Crestwood was treated to a return performance by the Kenyan Boys Choir.  The choir, made up of young men from high schools and universities across Kenya, provided an opportunity for members to develop their vocal skills as well as share their culture around the world.  We heard African-American spirituals, contemporary popular music, and

The Terry Fox Run
