The Crestwood Oral History Project

The Crestwood Oral History Project has been hard at work in the last two months.  We have visited Sunnybrook and Baycrest and many seniors have come to see us.  Crestwood students will be working on these stories for their major WW2 assignments, soon to be posted at https://ohp.crestwood.on.ca/ohp/!                   

CPC at the ROM

On Tuesday, January 16th Crestwood Grade 11-12 students visited the ROM, where they had a chance to see the Greek/Roman and Chinese galleries, and to see the special Viking exhibit – a great experiential learning opportunity and lots of fun!

Guidance News

Course Selection Course selection for the 2018-2019 academic year began Monday January 22nd.  Ms. Hann will be visiting English classes for grades 8 through 11 to review graduation requirements and the selection process. Report Cards and Parent Interviews

Midterm Report Cards have been completed and mailed out. Information regarding the Parent-teacher Interviews and instructions on how to book a time-slot are included with the reports. Crestwood Basketball in Washington

Last weekend the Senior Boys and Senior Girls Prep basketball teams headed to Washington for 4 days.  Both teams played some excellent basketball but it was the girls who stole the show.  The senior girls won all three teams, including the number ranked team in Canada.  It was an excellent opportunity for our student-athletes to

Winter Festival of the Arts

Thursday evening, the music students in Grades 8-12 performed for family and friends at the Annual Holiday Concert. The Grade 8 class played three festive pieces to kick off the holiday season. … “Dance Celebration”, “A French Noel” and “Glorioso”. Over the past two weeks Crestwood families have been generously donating toys, clothes, books, and other items to support 16 families from both the Durham Children’s Aid Society and the Native Child and Family Services.  As in previous years, our Crestwood community stepped up to the task and we saw over 20 bags of goods
