Students in Grade 12 Chemistry completed their Organic Chemistry unit by making a common medication used to treat pain, fever and inflammation called acetylsalicylic acid, more commonly known as Aspirin. Volleyball On Wednesday, the Senior Girls’ Volleyball team travelled to Albert College to play against both Albert College and Bayview Glen. Hockey Thursday, the Varsity Boys’ Hockey Team participated in the York University Senior Boys Hockey Tournament and did not disappoint. The team took on a very quick and skilled St. Augustine’s from Markham in their first game. The Crestwood Space Lions had a successful debut at the first Lego League last Saturday. Although CPC didn’t qualify to participate in the regionals, the students had a wonderful learning experience. Their problem solving skills and persistence were well displayed. They took many notes in improvement for next year’s competition and can’t wait to get started!
