The grade 12 Visual Art class welcomed guest artist and CPC alumni Owen Rival (class of ’17). The class enjoyed a painting demo and spoke one-on-one with Owen, receiving valuable feedback and suggestions about their artwork. Recently, the Grade 7 Science students participated in an investigation to predict and then measure the number of water drops that would fit on various Canadian coins. The students used the opportunity to develop their science-process skills including safe conduct and proper use of equipment, while practising making accurate quantitative and qualitative observations.

The Crestwood Oral History Project continues to do its outreach work, especially as we approach Remembrance Day. Crestwood hosted the annual boys and girls Flag Football tournament on Monday and Tuesday this week. It was a beautiful day filled with teams from St.Mike’s College School, Kingsway College School and Holy Name of Mary College School. The Crestwood Lady Lions went undefeated for the round robin but unfortunately lost in the Final game
