This week the Female Peer Leadership group put on several events to raise awareness around Bullying in schools and the impacts bullying can have on youth. Each day started with a morning announcement sharing stats and facts about bullying, which helped to educate our students about the consequences and impacts of bullying. We had a pink shirt and pink hair day where students dressed in pink and purple and dyed their hair for the day to show their support and stance against bullying in schools. Students also participated in Stomping Out Bullying, creating a mural of hand and footprints that will be posted in the school as a reminder to speak up against Bullying.
