This week has been anti-bullying week at Crestwood Preparatory College and the female peer leadership group put on several activities to bring awareness to this topic. Daily announcements, bulletin boards, townhall videos and social media posts have spread messages of kindness and about the importance of standing up against bullying. Our Grade 7-9 students participated in an assembly put on by Inside Out Health and Wellness. They discuss different types of bullying and the effects of bullying on the individual as well as communities. The Grade 10-12 had an assembly put on by Officer Megan from the Toronto Police Services. She informed our students of the importance of social media safety and bullying awareness. Students wore pink, dyed their hair pink and signed a Graffiti Wall all to make a statement that Crestwood does not stand for bullying.
