Next week, from October 26-30, Crestwood will be having its annual food drive to benefit the North York Harvest Food Bank. We have partnered with this organization for the past eight years to help support its mission to create food spaces and reduce food insecurity in our community.
This year, the mission of the food bank is even more important. In Toronto, the number of clients using food banks has increased by 230% since the beginning of the pandemic, and food banks are struggling to keep up.
Please bring in donations of these non-perishable food items, and help us fill the bins in the front foyer of the school: rice, cooking oil, canned beans, canned tomatoes, canned fish.
