After graduating from Crestwood in 2012, I went on to complete a Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology at the University of Western Ontario. Following graduation, I worked as a Research Assistant at the International Centre for Surgical Safety, implementing the OR Black Box into several hospitals in the GTA, United States, and Europe. Subsequently, I went to McMaster University to complete a degree in medicine, and then returned back home to Toronto, currently working as a Family & Community Medicine Resident based out of North York General Hospital. Starting residency during a pandemic has been an interesting challenge, but luckily I have a strong support system with many Crestwood classmates with whom I am still close today.
In my free time, I still enjoy playing a variety of sports, and was involved in several recreational softball, basketball, volleyball, and hockey teams during undergrad and medical school. Moving forward, I am hoping to stay in the North York community, working both in outpatient clinics and at the hospital, as well as continue to teach medical students and junior residents.
