Crestwood’s Photography Club (Grades 4 – 6) has been meeting on Tuesday for the past couple of weeks. The first theme we explored was “Of Importance”. As each student shared a picture of something that is important to them, we learned a little more about one another. Then, it was time to take selfies that would once again reflect one aspect of who we are. General tips included lighting and composition. Students were encouraged to choose a platform in order to store their pictures and create a portfolio. Some portfolio options presented were iMovie and Google Slides. Next week’s activities will include a scavenger hunt and a focus on perspective.
“Taking an image, freezing a moment, reveals how rich reality truly is.”
