Coming together once again like a beautiful poem and in complete solidarity the Crestwood student body and staff showed their strong support in the campaign against bullying on Wednesday. Widely celebrated as Pink Shirt Day throughout Canada, Crestwood participated by wearing as much pink as possible and taking part in several activities focusing on the elimination of bullying.
The students had the opportunity to participate in a cross-out bullying game, pose their pink style in our photo booth, creation of anti-bullying posters and help in creating our End Bullying pledge banner with a stamp of their pink handprint.
In the end it was a day full of smiles, fun and ultimately an understanding that bullying is never welcome or acceptable no matter what form it takes.
