They reduce label and style competitions and peer pressure that can undermine a student’s sense of belonging or fitting in and protect the sensitivities of students who can’t afford to keep up with the latest fashion trends. Students can focus more on learning versus who is wearing the latest fad.
Uniforms simplify. Most mornings, Crestwood students know exactly what they’ll be wearing to school. Parents tell us their children take three times longer to get ready for school on “grub days.”
