6A participated in the CBC Kids News in the classroom this week. We learned all about how to write a news article. We learned about the acronym TRQEE. As a class we wrote an article on a meteorite landing in a lady’s pillow in her British Columbian home. Together we chose this topic, did our research, posed key questions, picked our equipment, and used expert opinions to strengthen our news article. 6A will now remember to use all these key tips as they continue to write their news reports.
