On Monday, as the country went to the polls for the Federal Election, so did the students of Crestwood School. The grade 5 and 6 students of Crestwood participated Monday morning in the National Student Vote which was held across Canada as a way to get young people engaged in politics. Classes spent the previous week learning about the electoral system and the different political parties so they could cast an educated vote for the candidate that best represented what they wanted for the country. The voting process was very similar to the official polling stations with Elections Canada ballots, booths and individual pencils this year. If you are interested in the results of the Student Vote, please feel free to take a look at the results below. Well done to all the grade 5 and 6 students for getting involved!
