International Women’s Day is a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural, and political achievements of women. Today gives us an opportunity to reflect on the progress made towards achieving gender equality and celebrate the acts of courage and determination by individuals who have played an extraordinary role in advancing gender equality in their communities. It is also a time to acknowledge the work that still needs to be done to ensure the full participation of women and girls in future generations. Crestwood students took time on Monday to reflect on women they admire and important female influences in their lives.
