Crestwood School would like to thank, Michael Eisen, the founder of the Youth Wellness Network for his informative and timely talk on Wednesday evening.
The Youth Wellness Network (YWN) is an organization that partners with schools, community groups, and families to promote mental health, resilience, and well-being.
This parent session was one component of a full-school community partnership between YWN and Crestwood School for the spring. Beginning in February, YWN presentations at Primary and Junior assemblies highlighted the importance of wellness and shared strategies that our students could practise to support their own emotional well-being. YWN facilitators also conducted wellness leader workshops with our Grade 5 students as well a related professional development workshop for teachers.
