It was a perfect day at York University on Tuesday, May 23rd, when we successfully competed in the CISAA U14 Championship track finals.
With 825 athletes from 30 schools competing on day 1 of the finals, our Crestwood team excelled both on the track and in the field.
Your teamwork, focus and support for one another all season long was inspiring, pushing you to experience success, growth and personal satisfaction.
Here are some highlights from the final meet.
Molly H. came away with 2 ribbons placing 6th in both U12 100M dash and javelin throw. Congratulations to Myles A. for his 3rd place finish in the long jump.
Taylor H. threw her discus for a 2nd place finish with a distance of 24.30m.
Our sole U10 ribbon went to Ksenia S. for a 6th place long jump.
Tom X. joined our track team to boost our ribbon count when he came away with 3 ribbons. Two third place finishes in 200m and shot put respectively, and a 4th place in 100m. It was an exciting race that had Tom a few strides away from taking first place.
Our U12 athletes, all deserve special congratulations.
