It is estimated that 10-20% of Canadian youth are affected by a mental illness or disorder, and only 1 out of 5 children who need mental health services receives them. On March 4th and 5th, Crestwood’s Jayden Posen will be singing and dancing, along with over 20 other talented teens aged 11-17, in a show called Unsung Heroes Sing for Tomorrow – Teen Edition. The show will be performed at the stunning new Lyric theatre at the Toronto Centre for the Arts (Yonge and Sheppard), the Teen Edition is a musical variety show that is filled with fun Broadway classics, touching modern ballads, acoustic mashups and more. The groups goals are to raise awareness and fundas for youth mental health. Best of all, 100% of ticket sales goes directly to support Partners for Mental Health’s Right By You initiative.
