The U12 Girl’s Volleyball team had an amazing win Thursday night against Toronto French School, playing what was undoubtedly their best game of the season. The ladies won all three sets against TFS through fantastic team-work, determination, and much-improved volleyball skills.
Kitty, Zoe, Chiara, and Tira demonstrated unstoppable serving with countless aces between the four of them. In addition, Abby, Jessie, and Ruby made many picture-perfect bumps that were un-returnable. Taylor debuted a powerful overhand serve resulting in an ace, and Jordan, acting as team-captain, demonstrated perfect volleys that won the team many points. Finally, Molly was a fierce competitor in all aspects of the game, and put forth 110% effort despite feeling under the weather.
Coaches Calway and Suckstorff are incredibly proud of these ladies and the progress they’ve made in just a few short weeks. The team would like to thank Ethan for scorekeeping and Viana for her support. They have just two games left in their regular season, and take on Branksome Hall on February 15th.
