The 2B students had Scientists in the School on Tuesday morning. We explored the three states of matter and used a thermometer to investigate the conditions necessary to produce a change in state. What do an orange and a hockey puck have in common? Which is more buoyant and how can we change that? We studied how different states of matter interact while investigating solubility and we were challenged to produce the world’s biggest bubble. We also made freezies, called science tubes that we eventually got to eat!
